Release Date: December 28, 2018
Thereâs a thin line between love and hate . . . and it cuts right through the middle of their office.
Bad boys? They run right over good girls like Georgina Keller.
But after a confidence-shattering breakup, sheâs determined not to let anyone at her new workplace push her aroundâleast of all the brooding creative director, a âbad boy of publishingâ whoâs made it clear sheâs enemy #1.
Sebastian Quinn's taste for fast cars, late nights, and beautiful women may have gotten him to the top of a leading New York magazine, but the reputation that made him is suddenly threatening to end his career.
Georgina can help Modern Man shed its bad reputation, but in order to do that, sheâll have to start at the topâand no amount of rakish charm or inconvenient attraction will distract her.
Because if Sebastian gets her right where he wants her, it means sheâs going down.
At the stadiumâs concession stand, I took a tall stool, putting Georgina and I at eye level since she stood. âSo, why didnât you kiss François?â I asked. âBad breath?â
She gasped into her hand. âMy breath is fine.â
âI meant his. Iâm sure yours is pure relish on a hotdog.â
She made a face. âGross.â
âI happen to love relish,â I said. âBut does François?â
Each time I said François with flourish, she flinched. I didnât care. Something about him bugged meâI just couldnât put my finger on it.
âWe didnât kiss because you interrupted us,â she pointed out.
âSo? If I were in his position, and we both wanted that kiss, I wouldnât let anyone stop me.â
âFrank and I are clicking,â she said, scowling. âThere was even mention of spending time at his summerhouse.â
She coughed into her fist. âBoca Raton.â
The idea of Georgina spending a summer with him in Boca Raton was tragic enough that I almost smiled. I got the sense she was playing up the date. If it was so great, why wasnât she sitting here with him? And why was I more relieved than smug about that? âMeanwhile, Justin and I will be clamming in Montauk.â
âYou two should really just make it official and announce your love to the world.â
âBut then I wouldnât get to flirt with pretty girls.â
âFor someone who pretends to have as much game as you,â she said, âI still havenât seen you successfully flirt with any girls since Iâve known you.â
I smirked. âHow do you know Iâm not flirting with you right now?â

My rating: 4 of 5 stars
A great office romance.
This is a cute little read. The characters Georgia and Sebastian are very loveable. Sheâs smart and sexy and heâs a hot bad boy. Even the secondary characters are fun. I absolutely loved Justin.
This isnât really a typical office romance. George is brought in to help a company find out what they are doing wrong, sheâs kinda a fixer. What she ends up finding is way more than she thought. I could read about Sebastian all day, heâs one of those characters you immediately love and want to know more about.
Check it out, I think youâll enjoy it.
