Today we’re celebrating the release of YOUR TEMPTING LOVE by Layla Hagen! Check it out and grab your copy today!! About YOUR TEMPTING LOVE Christopher Bennett is a persuasive man. With his magnetic charm and undeniable wit, he plays a key role in the international success of his family’s company. Christopher adores his family, even if they can be too meddling sometimes… like when they recommend him to employ Victoria Hensley’s decorating services for his new apartment in an attempt to set him up with her. Christopher isn’t looking to settle down, but meeting Victoria turns his world upside down. Her laughter is contagious, and her beautiful lips and curves are too tempting. Victoria Hensley is determined not to fall under Christopher’s spell, even though the man is hotter than sin, and his flirty banter makes her toes curl. But Christopher is her client, and she knows better than to get involved with clients. Besides, Victoria isn’t looking for love. After her parents’ death, Victoria is raising her much younger siblings, and she can’t afford any mistakes. But Victoria and Christopher’s chemistry is not just the sparks-flying kind, but the downright explosive kind. Before she knows it, Christopher is training her brother Lucas for soccer tryouts and reading bedtime stories to her sister Chloe. Victoria wants to resist him, but Christopher is determined, stubborn, and oh-so-persuasive. When their attraction and connection both spiral out of control, will they be able to risk it all for a love that is far too tempting? YOUR TEMPTING LOVE releases February 17th!

So many feels!
I love this series! The Bennetts, each one of them have stolen my heart, and Christopher is no different. Christopher is a workaholic who has dodged relationships. His only one serious relationship ended in an proposal that was accepted. Throwing himself in his work has been his life until a certain designer throws him for a loop.
Victoria is raising her siblings after the death of her parents. Not having time for a personal life she has decided to focus on the kids. When she is hired to decorate Christopher's new house all that changes. He's a dirty talking, funny and sexy man. She is immediately smitten.
I absolutely love this author and her writing style. The way she tells a story will leave you wanting more. This series is one of my favorites and I can't wait to see what's next.

✿ FIGHTING WITH FAITH SYNOPSIS ✿
Growing up, my parents were the embodiment of love. The perfect example of soul mates. And with that ideal I couldn't wait to find my true love.
What I didn't realize was that just because you love someone doesn't mean they are capable of loving you back.
The day I met her my entire world shifted on its axis and I knew she was the one. The problem was, how do you convince someone they are your soulmate when they don't even believe in love? There was a time I believed that love truly conquered all, but now I'm losing Faith.
My mom once said, "Love isn't concrete. It's an emotion and emotions are abstract. They change. You don't make decisions based on something abstract because if you do, you are setting yourself up for failure."
I didn't understand her words at the time. I was young and in love and if you had asked me to define what I was feeling it would have consisted of words such as affection, warmth, happiness, butterflies, happily ever after.
Now after experiencing heartbreak firsthand my definition of love is a bit different. It consists of words like messy, heartbreak, waste of time, unrealistic, fake.
Until I met him. He reminded me of all the words love felt like before my heart was broken. He wanted to show me the beauty in the abstract but all I could see was the concrete.

EXCERPTI didn't get the job. This news was the final nail in my coffin. My legs gave out, nothing stopping me from collapsing to my knees in the pouring rain. All my safeguards and barriers were stripped away; I couldn’t take it anymore. A panic attack wrung me out like a wet towel. My chest heaved with heavy, ugly sobs. It wasn't just about the stupid job. It was about all the decisions that had led me to this point. Everything I'd done... everything I hadn't done. I was only twenty-five. How did my life come to a complete stop? What happened? How did it all go so wrong? Why didn’t I escape with Zenya when I had the chance? That one terrible, terrible decision to stay haunted me every single damn day. I was crying so hard that I started coughing; the rising stomach acid scorched the back of my throat. Was I a professional puppy-kicker in a past life? What did I do to deserve this? Why couldn't I just catch a break? Just one? Please? Rain rolled off me in rivulets. It was coming down too hard to hear the approaching footsteps. “Hey,” a deep, baritone voice said. I was probably about to be robbed and I just couldn’t find it in me to care. It was his shoes I saw first when I opened my eyes; black leather loafers with a shine so polished I could see my reflection in them. I'd never met a mugger with nice shoes. “Are you alright?” “No,” I said, choking off a laugh before it could return to a sob, then I wiped my face and lied. “But I—I’ll be fine.” Even now at the end of my rope, I couldn’t shake the stubborn never-let-them-see-you're-hurt mentality. It must've been the hardened New Englander in me. The flickering streetlight finally snapped on and gave me a good view of the man and his outstretched hand. He was tall, clean-shaved and had thick black hair that was neatly combed back. He wore a pair of crisp black slacks and a deep, blue silk button down shirt that the rain matted to his broad muscular torso. From his nice clothes, gold watch and lack of a jacket, it was easy to tell that whoever this was, he wasn't planning on coming out in the rain. His giant arms flexed as he helped me to my feet. My throat went dry as I mentally traced his incredibly well-defined pecs, shoulders, and abs. Catching his eyes suddenly returned the weak feeling to my knees, and it didn't stop until it tore a shiver through my pussy that no cold weather ever could. Who was this guy? “Your car's seen better days,” the man calmly remarked. “What?” I followed his gaze to Carrie. Plumes of ashy smoke billowed out of her hood. My heart somehow found a way to sink even lower. “Oh no!” “Let me take a look,” the man said, already moving toward my car. “It's okay. I have Triple A coming, they'll be here... eventually.” Ignoring me, he pulled a diesel-looking multi-tool out of his pocket, bent over the engine and started tinkering. The new angle highlighted the dark designs that covered his thick back. The tattoos teased me beneath his near see-through silk shirt. I found myself biting my bottom lip and wishing for a better look. Without a thought to ruining his nice clothes, he dropped a knee into the muddy, cracked asphalt and slid under the car. “Seriously, it's fine! You don't have to—” I started, but it was clear this guy wasn't taking no for an answer. I tried to insist, but he wasn't having it. I'd always had trouble accepting help from people. Something about feeling indebted to someone made me extremely uneasy, almost to the point of physical pain. I had worked so hard for the little I had. It wasn't much, but it was mine. Frantic and buzzing with too many warring feelings, I looked around and spotted the storage pod. “Even if you fix my car, I'm stuck leaving it here until morning. Some asshole took my spot with this… tuna can excuse for an apartment unit... thing.” I sighed. “I'll get a parking ticket for sure.” After a loud bang and a few grunts of exertion, which I was ashamed to admit thrilled me way more than it should have, he said, “Try starting it.” Skeptically, I turned the engine over. Carrie roared right back to life like nothing was ever wrong. For a moment I was stunned speechless. My car purred smoother than she had in years. Holy crap, I was going to make it in time for the bridal shower luncheon after all! Maybe even a little sleep, if I dared to dream. “It’s worse than I thought,” he said. “When's the last time you had any work done on it? A check-up, oil change, anything?” It struck me how dangerous it was for him to be working on what was basically a two-ton lightning rod during a rainstorm. Maybe it was just because of what my life had been like these past few years, but it was hard for me to wrap my mind around the concept of the kindness of strangers. “Maintenance, what's that?” I chuckled sarcastically. I ran a hand over my sopping wet face and hair, realizing I was coming off more sad than funny. I sighed. “It's uh, been awhile, unfortunately.” A long while. One glance at his rain-slicked thigh muscles sticking out from under my car made me realize it'd been a long time since a lot of things. When was my last trip to Jiffy Lube? The oil change place. Totally not a synonym for a quickie. Damn it, brain! I flushed with heat and turned away. It was hard to think about things like an oil change when I could barely keep the lights on in my apartment. I couldn't remember a time when I wasn't just scraping by paycheck to paycheck. Marcos had helped me out with a pay advance a few times, but that was only when things got really bad. “Thank you so much,” I stammered. “I'm sorry, I don't think I caught your name.” “Vetorian,” he said with another grunt. “But call me Veto.” What kind of name is Vetorian? The question didn't linger in my mind long when I saw that the rain had basically painted his clothes to his skin. Watching all the corded muscles in his arms and thighs flex as he pulled himself out from under the car was enough to melt away my money concerns, and everything else that wasn't an overwhelming desire to jump him. “Can I give you some money... or something.” I couldn't yank my eyes away from him as I turned off my car. His clothes were ruined, but damn, he still looked amazing in them. He wiped the grease and mud from his hands on his pants, then glanced up at me. Water dripped of the ends of a few strands of hair that covered his cool, dark eyes. The look he gave me made me tremble down to my toes. It was hard to believe Veto was real. I wondered what was wrong with him; there had to be something. That's how the world worked. Perfect guys like him didn't exist, especially not in my depressed little town. “Don't mention it.” His lips curled in a hint of a smirk. “Even assholes can do nice things every once in a while.”

We all have one.
That magic number that will get us to agree to do anything, be anything.
Don’t sit on your gold-plated high horse and say you don’t because you do. Everyone does. Each of us has something we covet enough that we’d sell ourselves to have it.
What’s my tipping point, you ask? Apparently a cool quarter mil will do the trick.
What does one do for 250 large, you wonder? Anything the infamous, gorgeous playboy of Seattle wants. For the next four months I’ll be Shaw Mercer’s arm candy, his beck and call girl, his faux girlfriend. I’ll be his to command, mold, push and pull in any direction he sees fit.
I’ll fight falling into bed with him. I’ll fight falling in love with him even harder. I’ll fail at both. And when my past and present collide in the most unexpected of ways, I’ll learn that while one man’s love for me has never died, the only man’s love I really want will never be mine.
As a USA Today Bestselling author, I write stories that are deeply emotional with flawed characters, because humans ARE flawed and if we read about perfect characters living in their perfect world, first of all, snoozer, but secondly, we never experience the gratification of redemption.
Outside of writing, I’m just a regular ol’ Midwest girl who likes Game of Thrones and am obsessed with Modern Family and The Goldbergs. I run, I eat, I run, I eat. It’s a vicous cycle. I love carbs, but there’s love-hate relationship with my ass and thighs. Mostly hate. I like a good cocktail (oh hell…who am I kidding? I love any cocktail). I’m a huge creature of habit, but I’ll tell you I’m flexible. I read every single day and if I don’t get a chance…watch the hell out. My iPad and me: BFFs. I’m direct and I make no apologies for it. I swear too much. I love alternative music and in my next life I want to be a bad-ass female rocker. I hate, hate, hate spiders, telemarketers, liver, acne, winter and loose hairs that fall down my shirt (don’t ask, it’s a thing).

Wow! What an amazing read. This story grabs you, pulls you in and immediately you fall in love.
Shaw is a womanizing alpha who has no plans of ever settling down. He loves women, one on one and he loves to share with his best friend. With his father running for re-election, he asks Shaw to please find someone to settle down with for the sake of his election.
Willow is financially responsible for her Mom who has Alzheimer's. It takes two jobs and she is barely making ends meet. One of her jobs.... an escort. She is offered 250,000.00 for four mouths of her time. Would you do it? Her biggest problem? She could totally fall in love with this man.
These two are amazing! I love how they banter back and forth. Willow has the best personality, even though Shaw is this big, hot, sexy man for me Willow stole the show. Can these two work? Or will there be broken hearts at the end? This is part one in a duet. The next book comes out in May. I can't freaking wait. This book is totally addictive.

This was no longer home to a fearless girl who had more love for Olivia than she deserved. This would now become a place of nightmares for her daughter. Would she ever be able to sleep in this room again? Would she ever want to sleep alone? Would she ever feel safe?
Olivia struggled to come to terms with what Melanie’s life would be like if she survived this. She hadn’t done anything to deserve this. Alexander wasn’t without his faults, and neither was Olivia, but Melanie was so young, so pure, so innocent. Now, at far too young an age, she would be jaded by the cruelties of the world.
Would she ever see her smile again?
Would she ever hear her carefree laugh?
Would she ever feel her unconditional love as she flung her arms around her?
Bleakness invaded Olivia right down to her core as she fell onto Melanie’s unmade bed. Sheets that were once warm from her presence had grown cold, and Olivia could no longer keep it in. She wasn’t just watching a made-for-TV movie about a successful, semi-famous family losing their daughter. She was living the nightmare. wishing with everything she had that this would all be over soon, that it wasn’t real.
“Wake up!” Olivia screamed, slapping her face as relentless tears streamed down her cheeks. She curled into a ball, the torment growing inside her becoming unbearable. It felt like someone was ripping her open with sadistic apathy, the pace languid and sluggish, taking pleasure from each strained breath she struggled to capture. Her skin prickled with the heat of a thousand branding irons. No matter how loud she screamed, it wouldn’t dull the pain.
“Wake up, Olivia!” she bellowed again, louder and more desperate. Nothing worked. No matter what she did, no matter how loud her cries, nothing would wake her from this nightmare.
Sobs wracked through her body as she fought for air. She tried to gain control over her body and tears, but it was useless. She was no longer in command of her own destiny. Even the seemingly innate task of inhaling and exhaling had become arduous and complicated. Melanie was her lifeline, her reason for living. Without her, Olivia’s heart gave out, her lungs refused to work, her body shut down.
Suddenly, a pair of familiar, strong arms cradled her, lifting her off the torturous bed, cocooning her in a shelter only they could provide. They comforted her sobs, giving her exactly what she needed. She cried into her husband’s chest, a hundred tears falling for every regret. No words were spoken. Lowering himself to the floor, he simply held her in his lap, wiping her tears, providing her with warmth in this cold, hateful world.
She didn’t know how many minutes ticked by as he remained there, silently assuring her with his presence that they would get through this, that everything would work out. Still, she knew they would never be the same. This had shaken their family to its core. There was no returning to the way things were before.
Olivia cried harder.
She cried for all the time she should have spent with her daughter instead of working tirelessly for one charity or another. She cried for all the times she told her no when she should have said yes. Yes, we can have pancakes for dinner. Yes, we can go feed the ducks at the pond. Yes, we can make Christmas cookies in July.
Exhaustion set in as her cries subsided and she closed her eyes. The last thing she saw before drifting off was Melanie standing alone in a dark room, a blank expression on her pale face.

EXCERPT“Do you think I do that? Live with regrets until they’ve made me afraid to accept happiness and accept you loving me?” I knew to choose my words carefully. “I think you’ve been alone so long it’s colored your outlook on life. And considering you’re one of the most fearless men I’ve ever met, I think it’s made you afraid to move forward. Your mother’s death and your father’s treatment of you left emotional scars. You have a hard time letting people in to help you.” Gideon stood up, and I missed him immediately; I sat up and watched him pace the floor, holding his wine as he formulated his thoughts. My heart broke for him as I watched his inner turmoil break him down until he collapsed in the chair opposite me. “I love you, Jonah. Thinking about being without you scares the shit out of me. I don’t want to be alone; I can’t anymore. But it’s not the being alone part that scares me. I’ve been alone all my life. It’s the being without you. I don’t want to lose you. Today made me realize how I could easily hurt you and push you away.” He gulped his wine then wiped his mouth on his sleeve and shuddered. “It won’t happen.” I swung my legs off the sofa to go sit on the coffee table and face him. “I won’t let it.” “I’m telling you. I’m perfect at ruining a good thing.” “I’m not a good thing. I’m the best damn thing to ever happen to you.” “I know that. But I don’t ever want you feeling like you have to stay with me because you feel sorry for me.” I plucked the glass out of his hand and placed it on the table then stood and pulled him into my arms. “I feel many, many things for you—desire, absolute lust, but most of all, love. I’m with you because I love you, Gideon, and that’s never going to change.” The pain in his eyes slayed me. When would he realize he deserved to be loved? A slight smile curved Gideon’s lips. “Absolute lust huh? I think I like the sound of that.”
