Ruby Rowe began writing in January of 2013 under the pen name Scarlet Wolfe, releasing contemporary and young adult. She soon tried her hand at writing erotica romance and fell in love with the genre. The pen name Ruby Rowe came about in 2017 when she decided it best to keep her racier books separate from her young adult romances. She’d like to branch out and release straight erotica; however, she’s a romantic at heart, and believes it will be difficult not to include romance in every story. When not writing, Ruby reads naughty books about possessive, hot alpha males. She has an addiction to Pinterest, pinning all the sensual photos she can find. She loves bacon, coffee, and other flavors of ice cream besides vanilla. ;) She hopes her writing will allow her readers a reprieve from the real world, giving them an opportunity to live out their fantasies. © Ruby Rowe 2017 “So, Camilla, how well do you know Christopher?” Lawrence asks with a cocked brow and thin lips that want to turn up into a smile. Another asshole. That’s it. I’m done. Time to leave. “I have to go.” My alien family looks at me, so I lean over to Camilla. “We have to go,” I whisper in her ear and slide my chair back. “Um, OK.” She gets up, chewing on that lip, and all I can think about is how I need a stiff drink and a hard fuck. “Just take a breather outside,” Lawrence orders, giving me a pointed look. He’s relaying that I better pull my shit together and return to my seat like a grown-ass man, but if that’s the case, then he shouldn’t have stirred the damn pot only moments ago. Unable to wait for Camilla, I tear off toward the exit. She calls my name, and I want her–need her, but my chest is caving in, much like the walls around me. She can’t see me any weaker. Saying my name again, she begs for me to stop. Dammit. It’s unfair of me to do this to her, so I freeze in the lobby. Stepping in front of me, she cradles my face. “Look at me. Let me help you through this.” Reluctantly, I gaze down at her. “I had no idea it was this difficult for you.” Tears rush to her eyes, and it pisses me off that I’m the cause of it. “I don’t want you to see me weak.” “You’re not weak. You’re simply not like them, so it makes sense you’d be uncomfortable here. I am, too.” “It’s not that simple. You’re not the one trying to leave.” “Only because I’m putting your and Liam’s needs first. His grandparents, aunt, uncle, and cousins … they’re his family and in that ballroom, so I need to present my best self to them.” Inching closer to me, she presses her body to mine. “I want to make a good impression for you, too.” She slides her hands from my cheeks to my neck and then down to my chest. Her bedroom eyes, beneath heavy lashes, tilt up at me and stare as she licks her lips, her seduction intense and intimate, as if we’re alone in the busy room. “Let me ease your tension. Find somewhere in this place to fuck me.”

© Ruby Rowe 2017 Pulling on my arm, he signals for me to stand. I’m wobbly until I feel his tongue roll over my nipple. My hands find his shoulders, and I use them to brace myself as he sucks the stiff pebble inside his mouth. “Yes,” I say breathlessly. His fingers thrust inside me, and my legs open to give him room. I’m loving every sensation, from his heated mouth to his thick fingers stretching my walls. “Oh, please don’t stop.” As I pant for air, and dig my nails into his shoulders, his fingers slip from me. No! “Stand still.” He moves around me, stirring up a breeze, and it sounds like he’s fastening his pants. Shortly after, he removes the blindfold. My hand shields my eyes as they snap shut from the intrusive light. “Let this serve as a lesson not to lie to me. Open your eyes.” I do, and I’m confronted with his penetrating gaze. He’s fully clothed, holding my blouse in his hand. “You can make our years together easy, or you can make them hard. It’s up to you.” Grabbing my shirt from him, I hold it over my exposed breasts. “Years…? Do you even hear yourself? You’re a handsome and wealthy man who could have as many women in your bed as you choose, probably at once even, yet you’re trying to play house with me in some twisted way.” “I’ve already had a plethora of women, and like we’ve discussed repeatedly, I want you and Liam here so he can be raised as a Burke.” “Now, you’re lying. You didn’t bring us here so you could get close to Liam. You brought us here because of your desire to use me. You said you were pissed I withheld from Tony that he had a son, but I think you’re doing this to feel like you own what was once his, and it’s all because you hated him as much as he hated you.” Turning beet red with anger, he points his finger in my face. “I have never felt hatred toward my brother, and you’re lying to yourself if you think Tony gave a damn about you. Not once did he breathe your fucking name to me.” Tears come, but I hold them at bay. I don’t know why his words sting. I learned years ago that Tony didn’t give two shits for me, and Christopher confirmed he didn’t care about Liam, either. “You’re evil, and although my body may betray me and desire your touch, my heart holds only contempt for you. Get out so I can dress and care for my son.” “It’s your last night, Camilla. Tomorrow, I’m turning your ass scarlet.”

© Ruby Rowe 2017 Stretching out on my bed, so my toenails and fingernails can dry, I close my eyes and get lost in Luke Bryan’s Pandora channel. Without warning, my earbud is yanked out, and Jason is standing over me, wearing a smirk.
“Wake up, Jenny. Forest is waiting downstairs.”
“What? What are you talking about?”
“You know, Forest, from that movie Mom watches all the time.”
I sit up at the side of the bed. “I know what you mean, but I swear I don’t have a boyfriend. I’m not seeing anyone,” I rattle off.
“I’m not the damn relationship police. I don’t care if you’re dating someone or not. I’m just telling you Zane’s at the door.” Stepping back, he scowls. “You’re so dense I can’t even joke with you.”
Holy shit. Zane and Colton are both here.
Shooting to my feet, I scurry from my bedroom and barrel down the stairs. Once I reach the bottom, I’m about to go straight out the front door, but something tells me to turn around and face the hallway next to the stairs. Colton is right there, maybe three feet from me, and I believe his glare could lead a protest march.
Lord, he’s so sexy. His shoulder is casually leaning against the wall, and a heavy work boot is crossed over the other. He’s in a filthy white t-shirt and faded jeans that are hugging his impressive package. Skin glistens with sweat and dirt, and I want to mount this man who’s all kinds of gorgeous from manual labor.
“Tell the weakling you can’t come out and play, pack a bag for the night and then park behind my house in twenty,” he whispers aggressively. “I want to punish you.”
