Drowning Erin by Elizabeth O'Roark
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Absolutely the BEST read of the year!!! Deserves far more that 5 stars for sure!! I am in awe over this phenomenal written book. Drowning Erin ranks up there with my favorite of all favorite reads! I floved this whole read from beginning to end. I love a good love triangle and this one met ALL of my expectations. This new to me author has a gained a fan for life with me!! I have been searching for a book just as good as my favorite of favorites love triangle for some time now and this one did it for me.
Erin, Rob, & Brendon's journey through this book goes from past to present allowing the reader to understand the reasons for this love hate relationship that Erin and Brendon have for one another.
There really is so much that I could say about this book, but I really would go on and on about how good it is and would reveal too much of the story. I want the WHOLE BOOK WORLD to know just how GREAT this story is. Go get this and start reading ASAP!!!
Happy Reading Everyone!!!

BLURB:Pain. That’s a word Bailey Winsor knows well, having endured it since she was a child from the people who were supposed to protect her. Just when her life appears normal, something Bailey has never experienced, she meets a man and falls in love. Love can be deceiving. Bailey jumps from the frying pan that was her childhood into the burning bowels of hell, which is her sick and twisted husband. It’s hopeless. Suffering more years of abuse, Bailey eventually realizes she has no choice but to run. Forced to stop in a small town in Ohio, Bailey encounters a town full of people that welcome her with open arms, especially Jaxon Walker, the tattooed and pierced local bar owner. Bailey has secrets she’s unwilling to reveal. Jaxon senses her fear and refuses to give up trying to discover them. Will Bailey be brave enough and learn to trust Jaxon with her deepest secrets? Will Jaxon be strong enough to protect Bailey when her past comes knocking at her door? Although book one in Alex Grayson's debut series, Shatter Me may be read and enjoyed as a standalone. ***TRIGGER WARNING! This book contains vivid violence, sexual abuse, and emotionally volatile situations and may not be appropriate for all readers. It is intended for mature audiences ages 18+ only.
About Alex:Alex Grayson is the bestselling author of heart pounding, emotionally gripping contemporary romance including The Jaded Series, The Consumed Series, and two standalone novels. Her passion for books was reignited by a gift from her sister-in-law intended to distract Alex and help her pass the time while her husband was away for work. After spending several years as a devoted reader and blogger, Alex decided to write and independently publish her first novel in 2014 (an endeavor that took a little longer than expected). The rest, as they say, is history. Originally a southern girl, Alex now lives in Ohio with her husband, two children, two cats and dog. She loves the color blue, homemade lasagna, casually browsing real estate, and interacting with her readers. Visit her website, www.alexgraysonbooks.com, or find her on social media!

Jeanette's Review of Shatter Me by Alex Grayson
Shatter Me by Alex Grayson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Wow!! Shatter Me is so raw, dirty, twisted, and oh so damn good!! The emotional journey of Bailey's story not only shattered me, but absolutely wrecked me. This was one hell of an emotional roller coaster, but one that was well worth the ride.
This is a dark read and may not be for everyone, but if you are a fan of dark reads, I highly recommend.

He’s not a douchebag;
but that doesn’t stop his friends from
turning him into one.MY FRIENDS WANT ME TO GET LAID. So much so that they plastered my ugly mug all over campus, in bold printed letters: Are you the lucky lady who’s going to break our roommate’s cherry? Him: socially awkward man with average-sized penis looking for willing sexual partner. You: must have pulse. Text him at: 555-254-5551 The morons can’t even spell. And the texts I’ve been receiving are what wet dreams are made of. But I’m not like these douchebags, no matter how hard they try to turn me into one. THIS ISN’T THE KIND OF ATTENTION I WANT. One text stands out from hundreds. One number I can’t bring myself to block. She seems different. Hotter, even in black and white. However, after seeing her in person, I know she’s not the girl for me. But my friends won’t let up—they just don't get it. Douchebags or not, there's one thing they'll never understand: GIRLS DON’T WANT ME. Especially her. Facebook | Twitter | Instagram
Jeanette's Review of The Learning Hours by Sara Ney
The Learning Hours by Sara Ney
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
This is my first audiobook that I absolutely LOVED!!!
Normally, I stay away from audiobook because the narrator never seem to meet my expectations. I am very picky when it comes to audiobooks, but this one met my EVERY expectation.
Josh Goodman and Muffy Newton was absolutely perfect these characters!! They had me laughing out loud and kept me well entertained throughout the read.
Josh Goodman brought Rhett to life. His narration was perfect in all the right places from the humor to the sweetness.
Muffy Newton's narration of Laurel made me like this character even more.
Josh Goodman's and Muffy Newton's narration of the characters was at the right pace, it was not over acted, and the reading tones was on point. They have really changed my views on audiobooks and I will be looking for more books that those two narrate.
This was my first read of this series, but now I am wanting to read them all. It's such a sweet college romance that has everything that a college romance should. Sara Ney did such an amazing job on the writing and the picking of narrators for this wonderful read!!!

From the New York Times bestselling author, K. Bromberg, comes a new series about three brothers, the job that calls them, and the women who challenge them. “I hate you. I never want to see you again.” Grant Malone is not the reason I moved back to Sunnyville—at least that’s what I tell myself. Yet, those parting words I said to him back in third grade, ring in my ears every time a townsperson brings up one of the Malone boys. I thought time had healed my wounds. I was wrong. Nothing could have prepared me for how I felt when I finally saw him again. Twenty years does a lot to turn a boy into a man. One who hits all my buttons—sexy, funny, attractive, and a police officer. But Grant is off limits because he knows too much about my past. But I’m drawn to him. That damn uniform of his doesn’t hurt either. It’ll be my downfall. I know it. What’s one night of sex going to hurt . . . right? *** I’ve always loved Emmy Reeves. That’s why I’m shocked to see her all these years later. The shy girl I once knew is all grown up. Adventurous and full of life, she owns my heart now, just as much as she did back then. Convincing her of that is a whole different story. I’ll give her the one night she asks for--like that’s a hardship—but when it comes to letting her walk away after, she has another thing coming. There’s no way in hell I’m letting her go this time without a fight. ADD TO GOODREADS
New York Times Bestselling author K. Bromberg writes contemporary novels that contain a mixture of sweet, emotional, a whole lot of sexy, and a little bit of real. She likes to write strong heroines, and damaged heroes who we love to hate and hate to love. A mom of three, she plots her novels in between school runs and soccer practices, more often than not with her laptop in tow. Since publishing her first book in 2013, K. has sold over one million copies of her books and has landed on the New York Times, USA Today, and Wall Street Journal Bestsellers lists over twenty-five times. In April, she’ll release The Player, the first in a two-book sports romance series (The Catch, book 2, will be released late June), with many more already outlined and ready to be written.
