The first sexy, captivating, stand-alone novel in the brand-new FIGHT FOR ME series from NYT & USA Today Bestselling Author A.L. Jackson . . .
Rex Gunner. As bitter as he is beautiful.
The owner of the largest construction company in Gingham Lakes has been burned one too many times. His wife leaving him to raise their daughter was the last blow this single dad could take. The only woman he’ll let into his heart is his little girl.
Rynna Dayne. As vulnerable as she is tempting.
She ran from Gingham Lakes when she was seventeen. She swore to herself she would never return. Then her grandmother passed away and left her the deed to the diner that she once loved.
When Rex meets his new neighbor, he knows he’s in trouble.
She’s gorgeous and sweet and everything he can’t trust.
Until she becomes the one thing he can’t resist.
One kiss sends them tumbling toward ecstasy.
But in a town this size, pasts are bound to collide. Caught in a web of lies, betrayal, and disloyalty, Rex must make a choice.
Will he hide behind his walls or will he take the chance . . .

Show Me the Way by A.L. Jackson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
I can honestly say that i haven't read a A.L. Jackson book that I haven't loved but Show Me the Way was perfect in every way. The characters, the heartbreak the love.
Rynna left home suddenly and damaged. Only to come home years later after her only family, her grandmother dies. Picking up the pieces of her life to finally face her demons from before. With the help of a single Dad and a beautiful little girl.
Rex has closed himself off. Raising his daughter is his only concern. Until he meets a thief who steals his heart. Finally helping him to open up and start over again.
These two are wonderful! And I totally fell in love with Frankie Leigh. It's heartbreakingly beautiful and I am totally in love with these two and their story.

Stand by A.L. Jackson
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Stand is an all the feels Book. You know what I'm talking about. One of those books that you feel everything, yes everything.
Zee's story is heartbreaking. He is convinced that he's the reason for what happened to his brother and it's his life's mission to make it right. When he stumbles upon a damsel in distress he does what anyone would do. He jumps in to protect her. Not knowing this woman will turn into his everything.
Alexis can't seem to say no to her sister. Knowing that she is enabling her she can't seem to stop, when she gets herself in a dangerous spot, a savior shows up to help her. A savior that she can't seem to forget.
Lies, cover ups and danger. This book has it all. Lust, love and greed. The story is gripping. It grabs you and doesn't let go. The writing is fantastic. It's hard to believe the series is over. We fell in love with these characters and they have become our family. Thank you A.L. for giving us a wonderful touching series. We have hung on your words and loved every minute of it.
