Really great story, some parts are heart breaking and may be hard for some but give it a chance you are going to love it!

 The Spiral Down by Aly MartinezMy rating: 5 of 5 stars So so good! I was so excited for this book and let me say I was not disappointed at all. I absolutely adore Henry, he is one of those characters that you automatically fall in love with, Henry grew up in the foster system which in turn left him with issues of letting anyone get close to him. He only picked men that he knew that he would never have a relationship with fearing of being left alone. With a fear of flying introduces brings him in contact with a man that he instantly knows he wants. That he needs. Evan leaves the Air Force for a civilian job as a private pilot. When another pilot gets sick he is called in on his day off to fill in. Coming off of a relationship he mets the man who brings back feelings that he has been trying to ignore for years. Henry and Evan are explosive! They are great characters who you are going to love. The story was really good and the writing is wonderful. Loved it!  Black by Aria ColeMy rating: 3 of 5 stars 3.5 Stars The synopsis of this book made me think that this was going to be a dark read, but it was not. This is more of a modern day Beauty and the Beast kind of story with some totally sexy scenes. I liked the characters Maxwell and Elle in this book, it did keep my attention and kept me reading. I liked the story, but felt somethings were too rushed for me. I think that this book has potential if it wasn’t rushed at the end and some things in the book were more elaborated on. Overall, I give this book 3.5 stars because it did keep me reading and was not a cliffhanger. Happy Reading Everyone!!! She always writes some really steamy, hot scenes. I loved the fixed trilogy and this is a nice addition to it. Falling Under you is Norma's story. I remember not liking her too much in the fixed trilogy, but really who could blame her for trying to get into Hudson's bed. I liked learning more of Norma in this novella and her relationship with Boyd. Boyd is a dirty talking alpha male that you just can't help but to love. I loved his dominance and her submissiveness to him in the bedroom. This is a really HOT novella that I highly recommend you read. I loved it from beginning to end. Happy Reading Everyone!!  His to Love by Stacey LynnMy rating: 5 of 5 stars Absolutely loved it! 5 wonderful stars! Gabriella comes home after being away for ten years. When she "bumps" into the only man she has ever loved and the reason for leaving all those years ago, she instantly feels those feelings that she tried to fight when she left. When Tyson"s boss tells him that he has to get close to the only woman he's ever loved to gather information, he knows this could end badly. This is such a great book. The characters are loveable, the story is wonderful and the writing is fantastic. I read this is one sitting and didn't want it to end. This is a must read! View all my reviews

I really wanted to like this book and tried really hard to, but I just couldn't get past the story being too much like Fifty Shades of Grey. I just couldn't connect with the characters at all and the writing was too rushed and sporadic for me. The main character Violet was too juvenile for me. Now Adam on the other hand was a real Alpha Male in the sense that he knows what he wants and goes after it. I would recommend reading this book if you haven't read Fifty Shades. I don't know where to start, what a great book! Four strangers brought together to live stranded on a deserted island. So many emotions... Fear Despair Heart break Love Survival. This book is so much of everything, I'm not making sense I know it but it's hard to describe everything you feel when you read this book. It's absolutely wonderful. I felt for these characters, cried for them and cheered for them. The story, the characters and the writing is phenomenal. It's a must read! About the Author:  Pepper Winters wears many roles. Some of them include writer, reader, sometimes wife. She loves dark, taboo stories that twist with your head. The more tortured the hero, the better, and she constantly thinks up ways to break and fix her characters. Oh, and sex... her books have sex.
She loves to travel and has an amazing, fabulous hubby who puts up with her love affair with her book boyfriends. |
