A Christmas novella where everyone gets their just desserts.
Olive had a major crush on Hank in high school. She was the too-smart, slightly chubby girl who gawked as Hank ran track and made all the cheerleaders swoon. After high school, the two went their separate ways. Olive opened a yoga studio and swore off sweets while Hank traveled the world. No problem, right? At least there wasn’t a problem until Hank moved back to town and opened a candy shop across the street from Olive’s studio. Now, Olive will do everything she can to shut her old crush down. But Hank has other plans, and all of them end with an Olive sundae.
Author’s Note: This is a sweet Christmas treat that will leave you satisfied, yet desperate for a little taste of sugar.
“So, what’s your poison?” He turns and places the boxes on the counter between us.
“Just whatever you have is fine.” I try not to look at the swirling lollypops, jars of jellybeans, or rows of frosted cookies. The caramel candy apples with chocolate drizzle almost catch my eye, but I look away before I become ensnared.
He sidesteps to the candy apple display. “Try one.”
“No.” I keep my tone level. “Just pack up whatever you want to donate, and I’ll be on my way.”
He smiles, and butterflies go to war in my stomach. Lightly tanned skin, bright eyes, and dark hair are still my weakness, almost as much as the mouth-watering candy apple he picks up and holds out to me. “Give it a try.
I just put these out this afternoon. The apples are tart, and I made the caramel myself.”
I glance at the proffered treat. My sweet tooth demands that I take it, but my will is far stronger. “No, thank you.”
His smile grows, as if he already knew I’d decline. Then he raises the apple to his mouth and takes a bite. The perfectly ripe apple makes a delectably crisp crunch between his teeth. I watch as he licks the stray caramel from his lips, and I wonder just how sweet he’d taste.
“What was that?” He takes another bite.
“Hmm?” Lord help me, but I stare. Watch his Adam’s apple bob and follow the movement down into his flannel shirt right where the tan skin disappears behind the fabric.
He grabs a small plate and sets the rest of the apple down. “You just made a noise is all. Like a high-pitched sigh.”
My face burns bright red. A sigh? I made a noise? “No. I don’t think so.”
“Yeah, you did.” He grins. “Almost as if you’d enjoyed that as much as I did.”

He pulled me close, continuing to kiss me like I’d never been kissed before. I whimpered, groaned, and finally gave in to him, pushing close to him. Our tongues tangled against each other, causing the both of us to groan. His hands trailed down my backside, cupping my naked ass under the towel that was only being held up by the force of our two bodies pressed together. “Fuck, Charlie,” Matthew growled as he continued to massage my ass. I pushed my hips into his, feeling his erection growing bigger in his jeans. My fingers made way to his hair as I tried to pull him even closer. I knew at that moment that any relationship Matthew and I had previously had just became something different, and we were entering very rocky terrain. And yet I couldn’t stop it. I was helpless, not a thought in my brain, other than what I wanted to do to him and vice versa. I couldn’t get enough of his lips, his mouth, and his hands. I didn’t want him to stop, and I was ready to push him back onto my bed and give myself to him. His kiss caused ripples along my body, and I shuddered violent as he softly bit my bottom lip. “What will I find under this towel, Charlie?” he asked huskily. I could only answer with a whimper. My lustful thoughts and the softness of his voice I could only push myself closer to him. His fingers slid from my ass over to my belly. Pushing aside the towel, his fingers walked down toward my core. “How wet will I find you?” he whispered into my ear, nibbling on it at the same time. I grabbed his hair tighter, pushing my head into his neck as he slowly went lower to feel the surprise he was expecting. His fingers found my swollen clit, and when he rubbed it, I leaned in, lightly biting his shoulder. Fuck, he was driving me crazy with his finger. I bit my lip, knowing that his cool fingers were just inches from my very wet core. Matthew pulled back and looked at me. His hooded eyes were filled with desire and want. I knew there was something I should be asking him, but in that moment in time, my brain was mush, and I just wanted to feel. I looked at him expectantly, and with the barest of nods, he pushed his fingers inside of me, causing me to moan in pleasure. “So, so wet for me, Charlie. So beautiful.” He kept his lips on my neck, lightly nipping and sucking. I was on stimulating overload. If he continued pumping his fingers inside of me, I would come. I lifted my right leg to give him better access as he went deeper than I could’ve possibly imagined. His fingers felt at home inside of me. I groaned, whimpered, begged, and sighed all in one erotic whoosh. “Don’t stop, Matthew. Please…” About Laura Benson: Laura Benson was born in 1968, during a year of terrible strife. First loves don’t last. Especially one as unlikely and turbulent as Elodie and Caspian’s.
It’s been years since she’s seen the rough rebel she fell in love with as a teen. She’s put him behind her and moved on. That’s the story she tries to sell her friends and family, but deep down, she knows it’s a lie. She hasn’t moved on from Caspian Cruz and she probably never will, but she has to finally give up hope they’ll ever reunite.
Or does she?
When her friends drag her to a sold-out rock concert, she comes face to face with the lead singer . . . who just so happens to be the boy she fell for all those years ago.
She never thought she’d see him again. She never realized he’d made it in the music world. And she never expected him to confess that he’s been waiting for her as long as she’s been waiting for him.
What will happen when their worlds collide again? A repeat of the past or a second chance to get things right?
ROCK HARD is a short and sexy read, chock-full of excessive sweetness and heaps of filthy talking. Not for the faint or square of heart.
“Men suck. It’s official. If a girl like you can’t keep a guy, there is literally no hope for me.” My friend, Sydney, shook her head and took a drink of her margarita.
“Just to confirm, you know for sure that he was cheating on you?” Our friend Jessie twisted on the stool to look at me straight on.
Exhaling, I pulled my phone from my clutch and scrolled through a few messages until I found the one I’d been sent a few days ago from a number I didn’t recognize. I refused to look at the picture, but I made sure Jessie and Sydney got a good look.
Jessie’s eyes narrowed. “Two-timing, sorry bastard.”
Sydney winced like the image was grotesque. “Dude, if that’s what he looks like beneath that fancy composer’s tuxedo, let that violin-playing hussy have his pasty, blubbery ass.”
“He’s all hers,” I said, tucking my phone back away.
“Hans was crazy about you though. I don’t get it. Why the sudden change of heart?” Jessie pulled the olive from her martini and popped it into her mouth.
“Oh, please, it didn’t have anything to do with his heart. He was thinking with his dick when he fell into bed with Tits McGee there,” Sydney chimed in, which worked for me. I wasn’t eager to hash out my most recent failed relationship with anyone, my two good friends included.
Hans and I had been dating on and off for a couple of years. He was the conductor for the world-renowned Los Angeles symphony, twenty years my senior, and had a golden reputation in the upper circle. My parents had been thrilled when they found out I was seeing Hans Vandenberg, visions of musical-prodigy offspring dancing through their heads.
No doubt they’d been devastated when I told them we’d split. They probably would blame me for ruining it even if I showed them the photo I’d been sent of him asleep and naked in bed with some other woman. They always seemed to prefer the ones who treated me like crap over the only one who’d ever treated me the way a person who claimed to love someone should.
“I bet you’re relieved you didn’t let him finally wear you down, right, Elodie?” Sydney had to nudge me to bring me back to the present. “Way to hold out on a guy for two years. You made his true colors come through.”
“His true colors being pasty with a splattering of really unattractive body hair,” Jessie muttered.
“Truthfully, I’m surprised it didn’t happen sooner. Hans and I were never good together. He or I should have called things off months ago.” I shrugged like that was that, because it was.
Other than looking good on paper, Hans and I had never made sense. I’d never once looked at him and felt my stomach drop, and I knew all he’d seen when he looked at me was a young girl he was hoping to add to his rumored lengthy list of bed mates.
That was part of the reason I’d held out for so long—I didn’t want be one of a hundred others, or even one of a few. I wanted to be the one of one. The one he’d waited for. I wanted to be someone’s The One.
“Okay, so I’ve got a brilliant plan for Operation Over Hans VanPastyAss.” Sydney tipped back what was left of her drink, lifting her finger at the bartender. “We’re going to get good and mildly drunk, then we’re going to go see My Mortal Affliction from the front row, baby”—Sydney pulled a trio of tickets from her purse, fanning them in my face—“we’re going to get on our knees and worship that god of a lead singer of theirs, probably flash him a few dozen times, then we’re going to make out with some really fine specimens before we allow our heads to hit the pillow tonight.”
My eyebrows came together as I studied the concert tickets. I’d agreed to meet my friends for a drink after my earlier performance, but I hadn’t planned on anything else after this. As it was, I was already checking the time, hardly able to wait to crawl into my bed and put an end to this day.
From the friends’ texts I’d had to field who were just finding out about Hans’s and my split, to avoiding my parents’ incessant calls encouraging me to work things out, to the concert where I’d felt haunted by a ghost during the last few minutes, I was ready to put this day to bed.
“I’ve got early practice tomorrow,” I said.
Jessie lifted her finger at me. “You’ve always got early practice. That’s no longer an excuse to dodge life.”
I blinked, offended. “I’m not dodging life.”
“Correction, you dodge the fun parts of life.”
My mouth fell open a little as I looked at Sydney to back me up, but all she did was lift her hands and keep her lips sealed. I wanted to defend myself, but they were right. Other than the endless hours I spent playing piano, my life wasn’t very exciting. Outside of these two dragging me out for the occasional good time, my social calendar was pathetic.
I had no idea who this My Mortal Addiction was, what kind of music they played, or if I’d even like it, but having my friends call me out stirred something inside me. They were right. I’d spent enough time waiting for my life to really get started. Enough time feeling like an empty shell.
“Well?” I finished the last of my wine and slid off of my stool. “Ready when you are.”

If your looking for a short sweet HEA book look no further. Elodie and Caspain have loved each other forever. Separated eight years ago by her parents she thought she would never see him again. After a breakup of a relationship she knew would never last, Elodie is forced out with her friends to have some fun and to forget her cheating ex boyfriend. Never in a million years did she think that she would run into Caspain but there he was, bigger than life.
I really don't want to go into much info on this book. It's really short and it would be easy to give the whole story away. It is a good short story but I have to say I have as a little disappointed that it was as short as it was. This would be a wonderful full length book and it has so many opportunities for a really great read.

Curvy, sassy, Ellis Ford isn't just any pretty woman...
Fresh out of college, she's smart, quiet, driven, and trying desperately to contain the wildfire that licks at her insides whenever Mr Banger calls her name.
One forbidden night locked in a closet and the office will never be the same...

Will one night with Tobias be something she'll live to regret?
“You’re the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen.”
Ellis’s fingers pushed through my hair, sending currents of need racing through my body. For the first time in my life, I could feel. I’d spent so many years with a wall around my heart, but after just one look from Ellis, a few hours in the presence of her generous heart and her radiant smile, I was hooked.
“I shut my eyes at night and I see your smile. I’m a fucking crazy man, thinking about what you’d feel like under my hands.” I slid my palms up either side of her body, slipping my fingertips under the creamy straps of that thin excuse for a top. “I can't stop wondering what noise you’ll make when I taste you.”
Ellis’ eyes shuddered closed, her fingers clutching at my hair before I crushed her lips with mine.
I pressed my lips to hers in a kiss that was meant to say one thing—I owned her.
Her body softened and her lips parted, and I plunged my tongue inside hard and fast, tasting her and desperate to show her she was mine.
“You're all fucking mine, Ellis.”
Soft gasps racked her body, her lips bruised and calling for more. Our mouths met again, tongues twisting together as I slowly pulled down the zipper of her skirt. Ellis pulled away, wriggling her skirt past her curvy thighs and revealing her gorgeous body to me for the first time.
“Jesus, I'm gonna explode.” I palmed my cock, jerking painfully against my zipper as she lay on the floor beneath me, only her scrap of a thong separating her sweet cunt from my mouth.
Pulling her thighs apart with my hands, I nestled my hips between her legs and ran my palms up the soft dip of her stomach, pushing her thin top up her skin and enjoying the blush that crept up her chest and neck. I pulled the scrap of fabric over her head and dropped it, my hands at her neck as I kissed her again. I couldn't get enough of her fucking taste, her touch, her everything. Ellis intoxicated me.
“I can’t wait to feel you.” Her hand slid between us, palming the ridge of my cock and driving me goddamned insane.
“I’m going to fuck you so deep, you’re gonna feel me tomorrow morning.” I grazed my thumb across her tender nipple and watched it pebble and darken, desperate for more of my attention. “Are you ready for that?”
Her stunning eyes slammed closed before she caught her bottom lip between her teeth and nodded.
I caught her chin with my hand. “Look at me.”
Her eyes shot open, holding my gaze intently.
“Now tell me you want to feel me,” I ordered.
Her eyes burned with something dark, sexy, uncontrollable. “I want to feel you, Mr. Banger.”
My heart hammered when her fingertips popped the button on my pants and slid down the zipper. My cock flexed eagerly. The brush of her knuckles drove me fucking insane.
“Tell me, little one, are you on birth control?”
Fire burned in her eyes before she opened her pretty mouth. “No, sir.”
An uncontrollable growl tore through my throat as my hands instinctively sought her flesh. “Good. I want my cum buried deep inside your pretty little pussy.”
I slid a finger between her sopping folds. “You ready to cum for me, kitten?”

Then when he tried to convince the woman he was serious as his “more the merrier” lifestyle became a painful reminder of the life he lived, Killyama used his own club against him to keep him from what he wanted. Train started to get up again. “Let’s go.” “Whoa. Slow down, sailor. We need to settle the ground rules.” “Rules?” Train’s brow furrowed. He knew it was too good to be true. Killyama never did anything easy. “Rules. You shouldn’t have a problem with that. The Last Riders are big on rules, remember?” “Tell me what they are, and I’ll decide.” He wasn’t about to let his dick and Killyama talk him into anything else that he would regret later. “Protection. You use it with everyone.” “That’s a given.” “Even if they are giving you a blowjob,” she clarified. “Have you lost your mind? I’m not putting a condom over my dick when a woman gives me a blowjob.” Shaking his head vehemently, he made himself stop when she gave him an unblinking stare. “Then don’t expect me to go down on you without one.” Train gritted his teeth. “It’s not like I would go to you right after being with another woman—” “I’m giving you a choice. Either you can get all your blowjobs from other women, or my mouth is the only one that’s going to be sucking you off.” She shoved aside the bowl of nuts he had been nibbling on to push the nearly empty bowl of pretzels she had been eating toward him. Train stood up without a word, going to the bar. “Give me a whiskey.” “You never drink whiskey,” Mick commented, reaching for the bottle. “Give me a double.” Train took out his wallet, paying for his drink before going back to the table where Killyama was leaning back in her chair, legs crossed at her ankles. Train sat down, downing his shot. “Any of the women in the club will give a blowjob anytime I want, so you can scratch that.” “Fine. I’m better. But if that’s what you want, it’s no skin off my nose.” Reminding himself he didn’t hit women, he started to get up again, but Mick beat him to the punch, setting a bottle of whiskey on the table. “You looked like you needed it.” When he started to reach for his wallet, Mick shook his head. “Shade said it was on him.” Shade was at Viper’s table. The brothers were amusing themselves by watching the show. “Tell you what,” Killyama continued when Mick left. “I’ll give you one, and then you can decide. How’s that?” Train reluctantly nodded. “You’re not going to go all psycho when I choose other women instead?” “You won’t,” she replied confidently. “But no, I won’t go psycho.”

Excerpt:“Talk to me.” I opened my mouth to speak before snapping it closed. Anything I had to say would make me seem like an overemotional, crazy drunk woman. I wasn’t prepared for that kind of humiliation. Thankfully I hadn’t drunk enough to make my filter disappear. “I’m just tired,”I said to satisfy him. By his scowl, he didn’t believe me. His tongue slid along his bottom lip, and I inhaled a gasp of air. I needed it. Perhaps the alcohol caused my lungs to stop working correctly. His eyes darted back and forth between mine. I frowned, wondering what he was looking for and what he saw. Did he see the insecure girl who had to continually say goodbye to everyone she loved but tried like hell to hide the emptiness that brought? “You’re always there for me.” My nose twitched. “It’s not a problem.” He nodded slowly, just once. I watched something happen in his eyes and then looked down as he fidgeted on his feet, shifting his weight. He seemed nervous, which made no sense. His hand on my chin moved slowly to the back of my neck, cupping me and bringing me closer to him. He was a breath away from me, his face so close to mine, when he roughly whispered, “But I haven’t thanked you.” “It’s not necessary—” His lips hit mine. My eyes flew open and I gasped, opening my mouth. Instantly, his tongue pressed in, circling my tongue and tasting me. Oh . . . my . . . gosh. It was like heaven and hell wrapped up in the prettiest package I could ever receive. Better than a blue box with a silver ribbon from Tiffany. He tasted better than I thought he would—clean and crisp—and I leaned in, wanting more. No, I didn’t lean in. I melted. My tongue tangled with his and a moan escaped my throat. It was that sound that had both of us snapping back to reality. He pulled away and my mouth was still open, my brain working too slowly to process what just happened, how absolutely incredible it felt . . . and the look of regret all over his face. “Shit.”Aidan’s fingers dropped from my neck and I stood on my front porch completely dumbfounded as both of his hands flew to his neck, clasping at the back. He looked up at the sky and gritted out, “Fuck.” “Aidan,”I said, reaching out for him. He dodged my touch and spun on his heels. “I gotta go.”

His to Cherish by Stacey Lynn
My rating: 5 of 5 stars
Five emotional stars!!
I've sat and thought about my review, not really sure how I can express how great this book is. See one thing about Stacey Lynn's books, you are going to get way more than you thought when you sit down with one. She can write anything and make it amazing. Everything I've read of hers I loved. Motorcycle Clubs, adultery, abuse, heartbreak she can write it all. So when I sat down with His To Cherish I knew it would be amazing and amazing it is.
There is a tragedy, it's terrible, heart breaking. You will definitely need the tissues close by. I cried through most of this book. Tears of sadness and some tears of joy. This book yanked my heart out and stomped on it. Having no mercy. It is absolutely wonderful! I am in awe of Stacey, she has given us a truly amazing book and her writing is phenomenal. She has set us up with who's book is next and I can't wait. Each book in this series I have loved but this one has been my favorite. Please read it, I promise you will love it. #TeamAiden

It’s 10 pm and Nash Davis is out for a run. His 6 foot 3 inch frame rushes through the Los Angeles night with a determination that appears almost superhuman. Bare-chested, his muscles ripple with each quick and hard step forward. As his sneakers pound the pavement, sweat glistens off his chiseled body. It’s unseasonably warm in Los Angeles this January evening. But Nash doesn’t even notice. With his crystal-blue eyes focused straight ahead, and his broad chest expanding with each breath, the only thing moving faster than Nash’s body at this moment is his mind.
I can’t fuck this up. Tomorrow’s my last shot. If I fuck it up, my life is over.
Nash crosses another street and begins the long ascent up a hill. The homes of the famous and wealthy surround him. His breaths grow more labored. Nash feels a burning sensation run up his legs. He loves it. He’s always enjoyed the sensation of pushing his body to the limit, although he realizes it’s probably not the smartest thing to do the night before his tryout with the Rams. But Nash needed to do something to exorcise the demons inside him. Otherwise, he would just be lying in bed, wide-awake and worrying.
Nash finally comes to the top of the hill. He bends over to catch his breath. As he straightens himself, he observes the bright lights of the city below him, blinking like a sea of neon. Up here, on this hill, he feels invincible. But he knows it’s an illusion, like so many things in this city.
Nash has had enough of the picturesque view before him. He starts running again. In twenty minutes, he approaches a house located in the Hollywood hills. It’s a modern window-and-steel framed house that overlooks the city. Since arriving in Los
Angeles two months ago, he’s been renting a room in the home.
Nash uses his key to unlock the gate and walks toward the front door. He opens the door and quietly steps inside.
I can’t wait to get home and go to sleep. Since I got up at 4 am, I’m bone tired. But unfortunately for me, the bus breaks down on the way home. It takes an hour before another bus shows up, and we’re able to continue our journey home.
When the new bus finally drops me off at my stop, it’s already pitch black. Now I’m really, really, and I mean really fucking tired. I trek up the hill back to the house. By the time I arrive at the front gate, I feel like I’m going to collapse. I’m so out of shape. I’m also incredibly thirsty. I use the FOB key Selena gave me to open the gate. Then I unlock the front door. I step inside the house and head straight to the kitchen. I’m too tired to eat. Something I never thought I’d say to myself. I just want a glass of water before I head to my room and pass out. As I fill a glass with water, I hear the front door open behind me. When I turn around, I nearly drop the glass.
Staring at me is the most drop-dead sexy man I’ve ever seen. He looks exactly like Beowulf845. Except he’s real, made out of flesh, and not pixels. He’s got shoulder length brown hair, and the most piercing blue eyes. His face is lean and chiseled, which matches his fine body. He’s honestly the most attractive man I’ve ever seen close-up.
“Hey,” he says, his eyes not making contact with mine. They’re directed slightly downward. A guy this hot can’t be shy, can he?
“Hi,” I say, suddenly feeling not so tired. I guess the sight of a drop-dead sexy
stud has quickly banished my fatigue.
“You the new roomie?” he asks. His voice sounds tired, like he’s only asking because he has too.
“Yep. I’m Flo.”
Our eyes finally meet. I witness a depth and sorrow in them that stuns me. I nervously smile. But he doesn’t smile in return.
He just says, “Nice to meet you.”
Then he heads straight to his room.
Once he’s gone, I take a sip of water.
I guess that was Nash, my drop-dead sexy roommate. I guess he’s not much of a talker.
