King of Code, an all-new intriguing and sexy standalone from CD Reiss is available NOW!King of Code by CD Reiss Publication Date: September 18th, 2017 Genre: Contemporary RomanceFrom New York Times Bestselling author, CD Reiss, comes a sexy tale of secrets, intrigue, betrayal, and a love worth crossing a continent for. Taylor Harden is a man on the edge. The edge of fame. The edge of untold wealth. The edge of utter humiliation. He built an unhackable system, and in front of everyone, it’s hacked. His reputation goes from king to goat in a split second. Boom. Like that. Some dude in Barrington, USA (AKA Nowhere) has locked down Taylor’s code, and if he doesn’t get it back, he’s going to be wearing a monkey suit for the rest of his life. Except, this guy? This hacker from Nowhere? He’s not a guy. Harper Watson’s all woman. And she has a plan for Taylor, his code, and his body. Excerpt:“About time!” the older lady shouted. “Is Harper back?” I asked, handing the bags to the blushing redhead. As if summoned, Harper came through the swinging door, keeping it open so everyone could get past. She looked at me through the screen. “You coming in?” she asked. “We need to talk.” “Did the decryption key work?” The door slapped closed behind her as she came out, and we were alone. The way the setting sun hit her cheeks made her glow, and the strands of gold hair at the edges looked translucent. She belonged on a postcard. I kept forgetting she was holding me hostage. I kept forgetting I needed to think strategically. I had more at stake with this girl than I’d ever had with another. “Did you doubt it would work?” “Not really. I’m just making conversation.” “What are the thorns about?” I pointed at the thorn bed that had eaten my phone and went down the stairs to the yard. She came after me. “Don’t you have these where you’re from?” She snapped a dry twig off the end. “Roses? Yes. Impenetrable, groomed thorn bushes in our yards? No.” “It’s not normal to give the gardeners in town something to do?” We walked around the perimeter. “You are not normal.” “It still blooms in spring. It’s really nice. You should see it.” We were at the back end of the yard, where the very top of the factory’s roof cut the horizon. I took her hand, pulling her to a stop. “Harper.” “Taylor?” Her hair flew in her mouth when she turned, and she drew her finger across her cheek to get it out. What was I supposed to tell her again? That I knew we’d interviewed her. That I didn’t give her the job despite her having a leg up on everyone else we saw. But was I contrite? Accusatory? Was I just going to relay information? What did I want out of her after I told her I knew? “Thank you for helping today,” she said. “If you’d asked me when we met, ‘Would Taylor Harden help clean the factory?’ I would have said, ‘No, not for any reason.’ But there you were. Pushing a broom. Scooping up shit. Not being an asshole.” “My watch was at stake.” “Yeah. Whatever. You can say what you want to keep your reputation as a shithead intact.” “I have a reputation as a shithead?” “You know you do.” I did know it, and I reveled in it. She faced me and put her other hand out. I took it, holding both hands between us. I couldn’t help it. “Well, you guys are such a bunch of sad sacks I had to help. And let me tell you, every guy in Barrington has a little asshole in him. Trust me. I’ve played pool with them.” “I want to say…” She stopped herself as if she really didn’t want to say. “Let’s get together tonight and get you another decryption code. But… saying this is stupid.” She bit her lip. “Say it anyway.” “The sooner you get four codes, the sooner you leave.” I looked at our hands so I wouldn’t have to look at her. “I’m not sure if I want that,” she said.Read Today!Audio: http://amzn.to/2wtCq7L Amazon US: http://amzn.to/2rLogZy Amazon Print: http://amzn.to/2szX9na Amazon UK: https://goo.gl/idTpfc iBooks: https://goo.gl/rMGk9m Nook: https://goo.gl/W79CEB Kobo: https://goo.gl/W5Zq8s Add to GoodReads: https://goo.gl/68zRuf About the AuthorCD Reiss is a New York Times bestseller. Bombshell, an all-new sexy and swoony standalone from CD Reiss is available now!Bombshell by CD Reiss Publication Date: May 1st, 2017 Publisher: Montlake Genre: Contemporary RomanceSynopsis:Hollywood bad boy Brad Sinclair always gets his way, whether it’s the role he wants or the bikini-clad model he has to have. But when a bombshell gets dropped in his lap in the form of a dimpled five-year-old from a forgotten relationship, he knows his life is about to change forever. Cara DuMont isn’t exactly thrilled when she gets assigned to be the nanny for the latest box-office king. She has one rule: no celebrity fathers, especially single ones with devilish good looks and rock-hard abs. But as soon as Cara meets Brad and his adorable little girl, she knows she’s in for a world of trouble. Because there’s something about the way Brad looks at her that makes her believe that some rules are meant to be broken… Excerpt:The front door opened. I expected a housekeeper or butler, but it was the actor himself. I hadn’t forgotten how beautiful he was; I’d just chosen not to think about it. “Ma’am,” he said. Southern boy. Parents together. Christian elementary. Public secondary. Two years at USC Drama. Dates his costars for a month after the wrap party, then moves on. Poring through the trades and making calls, I’d discovered he’d spend at least eight of the next twelve months overseas doing action movies, but most had postproduction in town. “Mr. Sinclair,” I said, holding my hand out. “Nice to see you outside a bathroom.” He shook my hand. I’d shaken plenty of famous hands attached to gorgeous men, but my imagination was sparked by the way his fingers slid against mine to grasp them and the way our palms pressed together. My mind clouded over with ripped sheets, hard muscles, and soft skin. “Pleasure’s mine,” he said and my brain skipped like a trip on a cracked sidewalk over the word pleasure. He didn’t give me the oversincere hand-over-clasp to show me how damn happy he was to see me, but there was something intimate about that half a second. Just a consultation. I followed him into the house. Dora Donovan had designed it. Looked like her with her faux-midcentury white couch and shag rug. That wasn’t going to work with playdates unless he wanted to keep an upholsterer on staff. We went through the living room to a smaller room with a pool table smack in the middle. It had a stained glass Budweiser lamp over it and was racked for nine-ball. Dora Donovan had nothing to do with this room, for sure. “Wanna sit?” He held a chair out for me. The glass-topped table was just inside the open patio doors and was set with iced tea. I sat. “I’m not a date,” I said kindly, indicating the iced tea setup. “Just so you know. You don’t have to do things like hold the chair for me.” “Habit, I guess.” He sat opposite me. “Chivalry is nice. But with the nanny, whomever you hire, it can be misconstrued.” He smirked a little, as if misconstruing his own thoughts. I cleared my throat and pulled my jacket closed.Read Today!(Free in Kindle Unlimited) Amazon US: http://amzn.to/2oyQhoz Amazon UK: http://tinyurl.com/jzo7dly Paperback: http://amzn.to/2obeYmI Audio: http://amzn.to/2oblJVI Add to Goodreads: http://tinyurl.com/zhgfx32 About the AuthorCD Reiss is a New York Times bestseller. Meredith Wild, #1 New York Times bestselling author of The Hacker Series Synopsis: The stunning conclusion to the New York Times Bestseller. There’s one, unbreakable rule in the game. Stay collected. Compartmentalize. Think your next move through. Never let your heart dictate your tactics. The heart is impulsive. The heart makes bad decisions. The heart doesn’t see the long game. Because the heart may have decided to get Adam back, but when the endgame comes, the heart’s going to be the first thing to break. I was jarred by the way he looked in the direction of the window, but not through it. He didn’t look like the commanding Dominant who had been my partner for the past few weeks. As handsome as ever, and graceful and sharp, a leader and a decider, but not the same. He faced me. “I don’t know how to fix this.” The streetlights glinted off the light in one eye and his jaw locked, catching things he’d never say. He looked like a man I knew and abandoned. Manhattan Adam. “We can’t fix it,” I said, putting his hand in my lap, watching our clasped hands make a new form. I rubbed the outside of his thumb with mine, feeling it’s familiar shape, the strength of the knuckle and the texture of his skin on mine. “We have to build something new. And we can.” I looked up from our hands to his face. Could I make him feel my optimism? Could I take a piece of it onto a fork and lift it to his lips? Would they part? Would he let me lay it on his tongue? Would he chew and swallow, saying “I do. I do believe we can, I do.” He didn’t say that. He didn’t believe, but his lips needed to touch my belief and his tongue needed to taste my hope. I don’t know if I kissed him or if he kissed me, but it felt like a first kiss, with full quivering that left me paralyzed at his nearness. The act of two tongues tasting each other was so intimate between strangers, so taken for granted over time, and so rarely is the wonder of it felt through to the bone. He was licorice. Fennel and leather. And he moved like cool water, reacting to my movements, countering with his hands and his mouth, covering me with his attention. The kiss was the sway of sex, the smell of it, the carnal desire without the promise of anything but another dance. About the Author CD Reiss is a New York Times bestselling author. Michelle's Review
Separation Games by C.D. Reiss
My rating: 5 of 5 stars Exciting, gripping and oh so sexy! I have been dying for the conclusion of this duet. Marriage Games pulled my heart out and stomped on it. I needed Separation Games to put it back together again. I have to be honest, all through Marriage Games and most of Separation Games I didn't like Diana. In fact I loathed her. My heart broke for Adam and all I wanted was to hold him and tell him to let her go. But yes, she redeemed herself. It did take most of the series but in the end I could see her side and wanted these two to work things out. This is one of those series that you invest yourself in. The characters are absolutely wonderful and you fall in love with their story. It's riveting, exciting and extremely hot. The writing held me from the first to the last word, everything about it is five stars!
