 American King by Sierra SimoneMy rating: 5 of 5 stars Oh. My. God. I don't really know where to start or what to say. First though five stars isn't enough. I am totally gutted. I am a pretty fast reader but it took me two days to read this. I would read a chapter, put my kindle down and cry. Once I got myself together I would start on the next chapter and start the cycle over. American King is absolutely the best book of the year by far. This has been one of those series that you can't help but fall totally in love with. The characters tug at your heart and their story is everything. Absolutely everything. I am in total awe of the author. How she could take a story and turn it into something so beautiful, haunting and so full of love that it's left me speechless and a blubbering mess. I absolutely loved this book and would recommend this series to anyone who believes in true love. This is a definite must read.
