 Rough and Ruthless by Hayley FaimanMy rating: 4 of 5 stars Can you say hot? I absolutely love this series! With every book I fall more in love with these characters. I did have a few issues with this one but I still enjoyed it enough to give it four stars. My main problem was that Max and Mary-Anne our main characters had sex almost immediately. Not the one night stand kind, like they were a couple right off the bat. It was way to soon for me. Other than that it has a really great story. Max (Maddog) is the charter club President and Fury's father. He lost his wife 30 years ago and thought his days of finding love again were over. When he gets a phone call to help a brothers sister of course he goes to her rescue. Mary-Anne is running from an abusive relationship, needing to get away she calls the number her brother gave her for emergencies. When Max shows up to help her she doesn't expect to fell what she does when she sees him. He's over thirty years older than her but the attraction is there. This is really a great book and series. I'm loving it more and more and what's coming has me more excited for a series than I've been in a while. The writing is wonderful and the characters are extremely loveable. View all my reviews

He didn’t appear to see her while he switched off the engine, jumped onto the dock, and pulled the boat over to secure it.
She swallowed, heart beginning to pound, neck heating up, breath shortening. Justin’s two-month absence somehow made her forget that being in his general vicinity evoked physical reactions she could never control.
What the hell was she going to say to him? Why was she there, exactly? Justin had a low tolerance for people who came to him unprepared, or for those who spoke impulsively. That wasn’t him.  Rough and Rugged by Hayley FaimanMy rating: 4 of 5 stars Love, love, love this series! It's sexy, sweet and suspenseful. There is love and betrayal. I adored Hattie right off the bat but honestly I didn't really care for Johnny at first. I thought he was a huge jerk and that Hattie could do so much better. But as the book went on and we got to see all of Dirty Johnny my heart ached for him. He really is a sweet guy he just doesn't know how to show it very well. Their story was wonderful not only was it extremely hot but it was also gripping and extremely entertaining. I love this authors writing, the way she tells a story will keep you coming back for more. Can't wait for the next book it's going to be amazing!

 Rough and Raw by Hayley FaimanMy rating: 5 of 5 stars If you like MC books you're going to live Rough and Raw. It is exactly that, the title says it all. This is a great addition to this series, it's Sniper( Bates) and Brentlee's story. When Brent leaves her abusive husband the last person she expects to help her is her first love. Not realizing that he is even in town she can't get over the surprise of seeing him again. Not only seeing but finding out he belongs to her sisters husband's MC. Sniper has been watching Brent for years. Never getting close enough for her to see him. He's damaged and even though he knows she's in a abusive relationship she is still married. Can these two get over the past and start a future? One thing about this book it does deal with physical abuse. If that is a trigger for you beware. But the way the author wrote this story it is done very tasteful. The book has a great story and wonderful characters. Can't wait for the next book. >
 
32 years young... born and raised in California, did a stint in Oregon only to return to the Golden State. Lived that life a while until the Lone Star State called to us, Hill Country, Texas is where we call home, where our boots rest and loving that country life. Living the life with one bearded power pole climbing husband, two little boys that are full of energy and drive us crazy plus a chocolate lab named Optimus Prime.
