 Cartel Bitch: Almanza Crime Family Duet by Chelsea CamaronMy rating: 5 of 5 stars Fantastic! I love this authors work and when I saw she was writing a mafia series I knew I was all in. I was pulled in immediately. There is back stabbing, greed and the hunt for revenge. I loved the characters and I love when we get Duel point of views. Javi and Mari’s story is heartbreaking. They have loved each other forever, grew up together, they were family. Until greed and hatred takes over and their world is turned upside down. This is Bladen "Judge" and Tamalyn's book. Growing up next door to each other Bladen and Tamalyn were high school sweethearts. They knew everything about the other and felt each other's pain. Both living in hell behind closed doors Bladen swears once they are eighteen he will get them out of this. Looking over her shoulders for years Tamalyn can feel danger coming. Running away to keep those who have helped her stay safe is what she feels she needs to do. Only now Bladen has come for her. It's time to let the past go. Great book! I absolutely love this series. It's full of outstanding characters and the writing is always wonderful. So anxious for Trappers book next.
