Title: Blaze
Series: Satan's Fury MC Memphis Chapter #1
Author: L. Wilder
Genre: MC Romance
Release Date: April 24, 2018
In Memphis, Tennessee, Satan’s Fury MC had become the most notorious MC in the city. That recognition hadn’t come easy. While people were visiting Graceland and walking down on Beale Street, my brothers and I were at war, fighting rival MCs and gangs who were trying to take control of our territory.
We had staked our claim, but when a new threat arrived, everything we had worked for would be put in jeopardy.
Kenadee Brooks was a nurse, trying to save lives and make a difference in the world. The moment I saw her, it wasn’t just her beauty that caught my eye. It was the light that burned deep inside of her that drew me in. I longed for it, and with each moment I spent with her, the more determined I became to make her mine.
But when she was pulled into my world, saw the life that I lived, would that light still burn bright or would it disappear forever?
As soon as we walked through the door, it was clear that a lot had gone into the renovations. I looked over to Sawyer and said, “Have you been here since they’ve changed everything?”
“A couple of times. Kevin likes to come look at the fish.”
“This is amazing.”
“I was hoping you might like it.”
We spent an hour or so just walking around looking at things and then he asked, “You ready to go up?”
“Sure.” He led me over to the elevator that took us up to the lookout deck. Once we made it up to the top, he reached for my hand and I followed him outside. We stepped out onto the deck, and the view was absolutely incredible. You could see the Mississippi River and all of downtown. “It’s beautiful. I can’t believe I’ve never done this before.”
He slipped his arm around my waist and said, “Not nearly as beautiful as you.”
I rolled my eyes as I said playfully, “Really? I didn’t think a stud like you would need to use a cheesy line like that.”
“I take offense to that.” He chuckled. “I wasn’t using some cheesy line. I was simply giving a compliment to a beautiful lady.”
“Um-hmm. If you say so.” I giggled.
He poked me in the side. “So, you think I’m a stud, huh?”
“You picked up on that one, did ya?”
“You’re the one who said it.” Just then, a surprisingly playful expression crossed his handsome face. “So, you think I’m a stud. I like that. My beauty thinks I’m a stud.”
Shaking my head, I started walking towards the door. “Okay, that’s enough of that.”
“Hey! Where ya going?”
“I’m hungry.” Hoping to distract him from the stud comment, I asked, “How about some lunch?”
“Yeah.” He smiled and patted his stomach. “This stud could go for something to eat.”
Trying to bite back a huge grin, I sighed and said, “Move it stud. This beauty is withering away. I must eat before I starve.

Blaze
4 stars ★★★★ I’ve been looking forward to this series, being from Memphis and getting snippets of my city in the author’s previous work is very exciting. And of course she doesn’t disappoint, Satan’s Fury Memphis Chapter are here! This is Kenadee and Blaze’s story, these two I have mixed emotions over. Blaze is a single father and a really good one at that, that is one thing I love about his character. He’s sexy, blonde and extremely hot. Kenadee is a good girl. She’s kind and has chosen a life to help others. The thing that bothers me is that I feel she’s to forgiving to him. But what do I know, if I had a beautiful blonde bearded Adonis wanting my time I’d probably be the same way. This book has a great story, we are introduced to some great characters who are easy to love and the writing is fantastic. I love this authors work and can’t wait to see where she takes us next.

After one too many disappointments in and out of the bedroom, I’d all but given up on men. While I was doubtful that therapy would change anything, I had to try something.
As soon as I walked into Dr. Seth Michaels’ office, temptation set in. With his piercing green eyes and devilish smile, the handsome doctor was every woman’s fantasy, including mine.
He tempted me in ways that I never dreamed possible, but some lines just can’t be crossed. With a newfound libido, I left his office thinking I would never see him again, but fate and a meddling mother had other plans.
Tucker Michaels could bring the heat, striking out anyone who stepped up to the plate, and he was burning up the big leagues.
At least, that’s what I was told.
I had no idea who Tucker Michaels was, and I honestly didn’t care. From the moment I met him, I thought he was an arrogant, smart-mouthed jerk.
I’ll admit he was hot—if you’re into those gorgeous, athletic types, but there was no mistaking the way he looked at me, like I was about to be his next grand slam.
Unfortunately for him, he was about to be the one to strike out. I had no interest in playing games, especially when he was helping my little brother’s baseball team.
… But after a week from hell and one too many drinks, I was starting to see another side of the sexy, charismatic player.
After the devastating loss of my wife and daughter, I did everything in my power to guard my heart, making everyone, including myself, believe I no longer had one. I focused on my work and kept everyone at a distance. It was the only way I could face the day.
I had no time for distractions, but the day Langley, my legal assistant, asked for help with her custody battle there was no way I could refuse. When I was at my worst, she was there to pick up the pieces, making sure I didn’t lose the only thing I had left—my career.
Now, it was my turn to ensure she didn’t lose the one thing she cared about most—her children.
I promised to help, but I had no way of knowing that one promise would turn my entire world upside down. With the help of her two kids, she chiseled away at the walls I’d worked so hard to build, and I found myself wanting the one thing I thought was out of my reach—another chance at love.

Title: Diesel
Series: Satan's Fury MC #8
Author: L. Wilder
Genre: MC Romance
Release Date: February 6, 2018
I may look like the boy next door, but if you mess with someone I care about, I’ll become your worst fucking nightmare.
Ellie:
I never dreamed that I’d end up at a motorcycle club, especially one as notorious as the Satan’s Fury MC, but that’s exactly where I’d found myself. They were supposed to be vicious, cold-blooded killers, but after an accident that nearly took my life, they opened their doors to me, treating me with nothing but kindness.
I was damaged, broken beyond repair, but one man, one tough-as-nails biker, saw past all my scars. With his sinful good looks and intoxicating, green eyes, he could turn the head of any woman, but for me, it was his heart that drew me in.
Diesel:
I should’ve kept my distance, kept my guard up, but Ellie Blackwell had me feeling things I’d never felt before—good things, really fucking good things. There was no way in hell that I was gonna walk away from that. It might’ve been a mistake to get wrapped up in her when there were so many unknowns surrounding her past, but in my gut, I knew she was the one.
I didn’t care what obstacles stood in my way, I was going to make her mine.
"Yeah. I figured if I was gonna have my house by the water, I was gonna enjoy it, inside and out." I chuckled and added, "Besides, it's a good distraction from the second-hand furniture and lack of decorations."
"Your furniture is great, but you're right." Her lips curled into a mischievous smile as she looked around. "It could use a picture or two on the walls."
I pointed to a tiny, four by six photograph that I had hanging in the kitchen. "I've got pictures. See? That's one of my very first motorcycle."
She walked over to the picture and studied it for a minute. "Um … Diesel, that's a moped. It's just like the one my brother used to have, except this one is missing the little wire basket on the front."
"What? You've gotta be shitting me." I smirked, knowing very well that it was, indeed, a moped. My stepfather had given it to me when I turned twelve, and it was a gift that left a lasting impression. "That sweet ride right there is a Honda PA50 1978 Hobbit."
"Yeah. Well, I hate to break it to you, but that sweet ride is a moped." The light in her eyes danced as she laughed, making her even more irresistible. I could actually feel myself being pulled towards her as she continued, "But don't worry. I won't hold it against you."
"Good to know."
After she took a quick look around the kitchen, she went back into the living room and stood by the windows. As she stared out at the ocean, she said, "You were right. The view really is amazing."
"I'm glad you think so."
"With a view like this, you should have a porch or a little patio. I could see myself spending an entire day out there just looking out at the ocean, drinking my coffee and reading."
"I hadn't thought about that, but you're right. It would be cool."
"Be warned. If you build one, I might never leave." She teased.
I liked the idea of her staying there more than I cared to admit.
"I'll keep that in mind."

Southpaw, Tucker Michaels, was a player on and off the field, and he was looking for his next big score.
Tucker Michaels could bring the heat, striking out anyone who stepped up to the plate, and he was burning up the big leagues.

As we got to the parking lot, I noticed that Kaci was parked next to Colton’s car. Kaden was already sitting inside while she was putting his equipment in the trunk. She hadn’t noticed that we walked over, and I startled her when I asked, “How’s the book?”
With a surprised look on her face, she peered up at me and asked, “The what?”
“The book you’ve been reading. Is it any good?”
A light blush crept over her cheeks and she cleared her throat. “Umm … It’s okay, I guess.”
I gave her a skeptical look. “Oh.”
“What?”
“I just figured it would’ve been better than okay if it kept your full attention for the past two hours.” I shrugged as I continued, “But … what do I know!”
Her beautiful eyes flashed with what seemed like annoyance before she replied, “I’m surprised you even had time to notice what I was doing with all you had going on. I mean … first, you had to deal with practice and all those kids running around, and as soon as that was over, you needed to tend to all your adoring fans … get their phone numbers … dish out some advice … You’re a busy man, Tucker Michaels. A very busy man.”
“You noticed all that, huh? I thought you were too busy reading.” I teased—which ended up being a mistake.
With an exaggerated eye roll, she slammed the trunk and walked over to her car door. As she got inside, she snarled, “Goodbye, Tucker.”

Bring the Heat by L. Wilder
My rating: 4 of 5 stars A cute, sweet fast read. I love L Wilder's writing, so I when i saw she had something different coming out I couldn't wait to get my hands on it. Bring the Heat is light and just what i needed. Lately everything I've read has been dark and gritty so this was a great change. I loved the story and characters. Tucker and Kaci are great together. Another thing I really liked is that it actually had a story. Most novellas are full of sex and sometimes the story is left out. Not with this. Really excited for this author and can't wait for the next book. View all my reviews

Title: Two Bit
Series: Satan's Fury MC #7
Author: L. Wilder
Genre: MC Romance
Release Date: August 22, 2017
Where I was his weakness, he became my strength.
Two Bit:
I've never been one to hold back. I’ve always said what was on my mind-- right or wrong-- and earned my name because of it. Giving my two cents hasn’t always been a good thing, but on one fateful night, it led me to her. She was a once in a lifetime kind of girl. Undeniably beautiful. Fearless. Unforgettable.
She was like a wildfire, scorching my soul, and in an instant, she had the power to burn right through me. I wanted her, but getting mixed up with her nearly cost me my life.
I tried to fight it. I tried to save myself from the flame... but after one touch, I knew there was no turning back.
Zoe would be mine.
Zoe:
Sometimes, you’ve got to hit rock bottom before you can find a way to move forward. Well, it’s time for me to find a way to move forward, because I’ve sure as hell hit rock bottom.
My father, the president of the Chosen Knights, died and left me a legacy I didn't want. The club was supposed to be my family, but with my father gone, they’d gotten tangled up in things I wanted no part of. I wanted out, but I was stuck with no money and no place to go. I’d thought all hope was gone, until he walked into the bar. Like he’d stepped out of my dreams, he was everything I’d ever wanted. Handsome. Courageous. Passionate.
Being with him came at a price—a price I wasn’t sure either of us could pay.
When sparks fly and ignite a war, who will be left standing in the ashes?
In my mind, I knew I shouldn’t be there with him, that it was too much of a risk, but my heart just wasn’t listening. Even though I’d tried to keep my guard up, spending more time with him had only made me more attracted to him. His sense of humor, his sexy smile, and that body that made my pulse race were just too hard to resist. He shifted his stance as he looked at me, his eyes glistening in the darkness. I knew what was coming and glanced away. Then, unable to resist the temptation, I looked back at him. He hovered over me as his eyes roamed seductively across my lips, and I could only sit there frozen with excitement and anticipation. I couldn’t remember ever wanting anything more than feeling his lips against mine, and the waiting was pure agony. I should’ve been patient, but I couldn’t help myself. I inched closer, leaning towards him, but he never made his move. Instead, he just stood there staring at me with lust-filled eyes. Without thinking, I mumbled, “Um… I thought you were going to kiss me?”
His eyes sparkled with mischief as he asked, “What made you think I was going to kiss you?” Embarrassment washed over me. “I guess I was just hoping you would.” His voice was low and raspy as he asked, “You want me to kiss you, Zoe?” I nodded as I answered, “Yes.” “Well, I’m not so sure that’s a good idea.” “Why not?” His dark eyes flickered with hunger as they dropped to my breasts. “I’m not sure I’ll be able to stop once I get started.” I hesitated for only a moment before I replied, “Maybe I don’t want you to stop.” “Zoe,” he whispered slowly, prolonging each letter of my name as if to savor them. His eyes locked on mine as he leaned forward, but just as his lips were about to touch mine, he stopped. My lips parted, and our breaths mingled. The electricity crackled between us, making my entire body hum. I eased forward, trying to close the distance between us, but he quickly leaned out of my reach. I look up at him with disappointment. “Seriously?” He paused, not to refuse, but to appreciate the moment before slipping his hand behind my neck and pulling me forward, crashing his mouth against mine. His lips were soft and full as they covered mine. It was like they were made just for me. His warm, wet tongue ran across my bottom lip as his hands snaked down my back. They were strong and sure as he pulled me closer to him. His touch. His scent. His taste. Everything about him made entire body tingle with desire. I had longed for that moment. It had been all I could think about, but I could’ve never imagined it could feel so good, so right. My fingers raked through his hair as I moaned against his mouth.

I should be happy that he came to my rescue, saving me from my worst nightmare, but I’ve just exchanged one hell for another. He was the highest bidder, and now he thinks he owns me. He gave me my freedom. He gave me a second chance that I thought was stolen from me. He’s given me everything, except the one thing I truly want—his heart.
Will their love heal the wounds of their past, or will they both remain damaged goods?
As I walked by him, he reached for my arm, gently stopping me before I started down the steps. His voice was dripping with warning as he growled, “Tristen.” “What?” He stood over me, just inches away, and my heart began to thump a little harder. Damn. Why did he have to be so freaking hot? I was furious with him, and yet, I still felt an undeniable pull towards him. I wanted to touch him, to feel his arms around me and his mouth on my skin, and I had no doubt that he knew how I felt. It was written all over my face every time I laid eyes on him. Trying to ignore my traitorous hormones, I crossed my arms and looked him directly in the eye. “You might think this is some kind of game we’re playing here, that I’m just some pawn you can play with, but you’re wrong, Nathan. This is no game, because I refuse to play.” “You’re not just some pawn, Tristen. You’re the fucking queen, the most powerful piece in the game.” He took a step towards me, placing his hands on my waist as he closed the gap between us. “Maybe you didn’t know, but it’s your job to protect the king.” “Oh, please,” I scoffed. “Who am I protecting you from?” His eyes pierced straight through me, pulling at my heart as he stared at me. “Myself.”

Since then, she’s completed the Devil Chaser’s Series and continued on with the Satan’s Fury MC Series. She has so many stories in her head, and can’t wait to share each and every one.
Damaged Goods by L. Wilder
My rating: 5 of 5 stars Five wonderful stars! I'm in love with Nitro/Nathan. Through most of the book I was an emotional mess, my heart hurt for this beautiful man. He's been through so much letting revenge get him through. We meet him in Big when he was called in to help find and rescue Tristan. One thing he didn't imagine was seeing something in her eyes and the need to save her. Damaged Goods is about Nathan finding his way through his past pain and learning to live again. Tristan is a big part in him being able to move forward and love again. These two are wonderful together and I absolutely loved their story. This is a little different from what the author has written in the past and she did a wonderful job giving us an truly exciting and loveable story. Can't wait to see where this series goes next. |
