“Do you want to talk about today?” Summer asks as we lean back on the couch. “Not tonight. I like that this place is drama-free. Thank you for making that happen.” She widens her eyes, then groans. “You saw the magazines.” “Yeah. I wanted to thank you yesterday but thought bringing the evening up would just make you uncomfortable again. But thank you.” “You’re welcome.” She takes a small sip of wine, sinking lower on the couch. “What’s wrong?” “Just residual embarrassment for that night. I’ll get over it. Eventually.” I turn to her, framing her jaw with my hand, leaning in. “Summer, we’ve been over this.” A small sound escapes her, somewhere between a chuckle and a choke. “You probably forgot all about it already.” The gentleman thing would be to tell her I did. But I don’t have the energy to act any longer tonight, and I don’t want to act around her. I want to be honest, and something in her body language tips me off that she needs that honesty. “I don’t think I’ll ever forget it. The sight of your beautiful body is branded in my brain.” Her mouth pops open. “But... you said it wasn’t a big deal, that you’d seen plenty of actresses—” “I was trying to put you at ease.” By the looks of it, I did just the opposite. “You have no idea how hard it was to keep my control, Summer. I wanted you so badly.” She sucks in a breath. “You did?” “I still do.” She parts her lips, her eyes widening with surprise. I bring a hand to her face, caressing her cheek, resting my thumb at the corner of her mouth. Her skin is so smooth, it spurs a need deep inside me, to touch more of her. To taste her. Would she taste as sweet as I remember? Have I idealized the kiss, the memory growing sweeter, more real the more time we spent together, the more I learned about her? “I’ve missed you today,” I confess. “You did?” “Yeah.” “So did I. I arrived late at breakfast, and no one saved me muffins.” “I brought you something.” I pull the small package out of my pocket and take out the necklace with a little key pendant. “I saw it at LAX. It made me think of you.” “I love it.” “Let me put it on.” She turns around, baring her neck to me. I clasp the necklace, lingering with my fingers at the back of her neck. She lets out a little sigh. I trace the contour of her shoulder, needing to touch more of her. Summer tightens her grip on one of the couch cushions. I move closer until my chest almost touches her back, rubbing my thumb gently in the crook of her neck and shoulder. When she tilts her head slightly to the other side, giving me access, I don’t hesitate. I lower my mouth, pressing kisses to her skin. “Alex!” The vibration in her voice is the sexiest sound. I bring one hand to her waist, spin her around, then capture her mouth with mine. She parts her lips, granting me access, entwining her tongue with mine as soon as I request it. I deepen the kiss, moving my hand from her waist to her thigh, bunching up her dress. I want to feel her skin, taste it, because she tastes even better than I remember, and I want to explore all of her. “Alex,” she whispers again when I trail my mouth down her neck. “One night. Just this one night.”

I hate that this is the end of the Bennett’s. We have watched them all fall in love, we’ve grown with them and we’ve fallen in love with them. The end brings us Summers and Alex’s book. He’s a gorgeous actor looking for someone to notice him for himself and she’s a spitfire who you can’t help but love. She’s probably one of my favorite Bennett’s and I really enjoyed her story.

This author has such a great talent of bringing us fantastic reads and I’m am hoping she brings us a spin off series of the cousins. I hate to see these guys go, gotta love the Bennett’s!

Wordlessly, Daniel picks me up, carrying me to the bedroom. How did I end up in his arms for the second time today? After breakfast, I was too sick to take it all in, but now... oh my, am I making up for that. Every nerve ending where my bare skin presses against Daniel is perking up. The bits covered by the towel aren’t faring much better. A light shudder passes through me when Daniel lays me on the bed. To my dismay, he sits on the edge, pulling my left ankle in his lap, inspecting it. “Does it hurt?” “No.” I flex it a little, testing it out. “Definitely no sprain, but I’m going to have bruises tomorrow all over my left side. I think you bring me bad luck. I seem to have all sorts of accidents when I’m around you. First I nearly sprained my ankle at Blake and Clara’s wedding, and today—” “You scared ten years off my life today.” Daniel shakes his head, putting my foot back on the mattress. He’s frowning as he shifts his weight until he sits right next to my hips. I don’t like that frown one bit, but then I remember Daniel isn’t mine to make happy. Still, I can lighten up the situation. “Hmm, now that you mention it, I can see two white hairs. Weren’t there before. Must have sprouted while I was asleep.” Reaching out, I’m aiming to touch a random spot on his scalp, but somehow end up running my hand through his hair. Damn it, he’s not mine to touch. Why do I keep forgetting this? My heart thumps wildly when I realize Daniel’s leaning into my hand as if... as if he’s been yearning for my touch as much as I’ve yearned for his. Has he missed me just as much? I barely formulate the thought when he grabs my hand, kissing the inside of my wrist. I feel the contact reverberate through my entire body until my center is on fire. Goose bumps erupt everywhere on my skin, and I have no way to hide them. Daniel’s pupils dilate. I’m not the only one who is aroused. “You look even more beautiful than I remember, Caroline.” I shake my head. “I’ve put on weight.” “You’re perfect. You’re—” Daniel doesn’t finish the sentence. Instead, he leans over, sealing his lips against mine. Oh God, his lips. They’re so warm and feel so, so good against mine that I fist his shirt without thinking, pulling him even closer, scooting over to one side, making space for him.

I am so in love with these characters. The Bennett's are one of my favorite families to read about. We've gone through their heartbreaks and their joys. This is Daniel and Caroline's book, I could say it's my favorite but I've said that about every book in the series so I'll just say I totally fell in love with it.

Daniel and Caroline were college sweethearts. Deciding to separate for graduate school these two never fully got over the other. Your One True Love is a second chance read that will have you swooning and celebrating their story. If you haven't met the Bennett's yet I highly recommend their stories.

Gotta love The Bennett's!

I absolutely love this series, with each book I fall more in love with the Bennett's. Family is everything to them and each character brings so much to their story. This is Blake and Clara's book and you're going to love it.

Clara is a family friend. Not having a family of her own she has totally fallen in love with these people, especially a certain Bennett brother. She knows she shouldn't but she can't help but wonder about him. Not wanting to ruin being part of a family she doesn't let her feelings for him show.

Blake has watched Clara from afar. Deciding now is the time to show her how he feels, he waits patiently for her to be ready for him. These two take anticipation to an all new level. Together they are off the charts hot, their chemistry explosive. The author did a wonderful job with her story and the writing was fantastic. I totally recommend this book and in fact the whole series is outstanding. You will love these people.

“Let me do the dirty work from time to time. You’re mine, Alice. That means I’ll protect you from anyone, even if you don’t want me to. I’ll protect you especially when you don’t want me to because it’s when you need it most.” Before I can reply, he steps right in front of me. “You understand? You are mine.”

I shake my head. “You’re stubborn and possessive.”

So many feels!

I love this series! The Bennetts, each one of them have stolen my heart, and Christopher is no different. Christopher is a workaholic who has dodged relationships. His only one serious relationship ended in an proposal that was accepted. Throwing himself in his work has been his life until a certain designer throws him for a loop.

Victoria is raising her siblings after the death of her parents. Not having time for a personal life she has decided to focus on the kids. When she is hired to decorate Christopher's new house all that changes. He's a dirty talking, funny and sexy man. She is immediately smitten.

I absolutely love this author and her writing style. The way she tells a story will leave you wanting more. This series is one of my favorites and I can't wait to see what's next.

A cute, sexy wonderful book. It has romance, heat and a great story. Max and Emilia are childhood best friends. When Emilia has to. I've out of state at 12 she thinks she'll never see Max again.

Fast forward 15 years and Max comes into the clinic Emilia works at for physical therapy. He can't believe his eyes when his very own therapist is his childhood best friend whom he has thought about for years.

Fireworks explode, temperatures rise. They decided to give a relationship a chance. Can they go from friends to lovers and avoid being hurt? This was really a cute sweet book. It's exactly what I needed and really enjoyed it. Looking forward to the next book in this series.
